Welcome to Rushton Primary School

Hello and welcome to our school, Rushton Primary School has a tangible warmth and a friendly atmosphere that welcomes everyone. We create our family feel through establishing open and effective communications between pupils, staff and parents, keeping the best interests of the children at the heart of our decision making.

We are very lucky to be situated in an rural village setting. We have 95 pupils on roll, all aged between 4 and 11 years old, who are guided and supported by our dedicated team. At Rushton, we work collaboratively to offer all pupils the best opportunities during their time in primary education.

Our pupils tell us how happy they are at school, and we are very proud to have such hardworking and well-mannered children and such supportive parents. We are very proud of the relationship we have with the whole school community and we will continue to work hard to strengthen this further.

We offer a well structure curriculum which ensures progression throughout their journey at Rushton. This is delivered alongside a continuous focus on growth mind-set. We encourage independence and ensure our children feel good about themselves and acquire a positive self-image through our school values: Aspiration, Courage and Responsibility.

Please explore our website to find out more, and do get in touch with us for a visit or to find out what we can offer for your child(ren).
