The PCA is a group of parents who voluntarily work together to raise money which is then invested into resources for Rushton Primary School. Fund raising activities in the past include cake stalls, cinema evenings, a Halloween disco, Christmas and Summer fetes and selling the children's self-designed Christmas cards.

We are currently raising money to promote displays and the ethos around the school, developing playtime opportunities, increasing our IT equipment and considering ways to shade our playground. We want to create a fun exciting environment for the children to learn in.   


So far we have helped to:

  • Create a reading pod.

  • Make calm learning spaces around the school.

  • Develop a gardening area for the children to grow their own produce.

  • Build communication zones for the children to socialise with their peers.

Our events are included within the school calendar and advertised on newsletters and in the parent notice board.
